Pokemon Go has a a gym system where you can place a Pokemon that will defend the gym against people that are trying to take it over. But even if no one attacks the gym, your Pokemon will lose power over time, which can result in it having low motivation. You can replenish your Pokemon’s motivation by feeding it a berry, and Pokemon Go will even send you a notification if your Pokemon’s motivation reaches a low enough level. If you have a lot of Pokemon in gyms, though, these notifications can become a little excessive, and you might prefer to turn them off. How to Turn Off Notifications About Low Motivation for Pokemon in Gyms
The steps in this article were performed on an iPhone 11 in iOS 13.1.3, using the most current version of the Pokemon Go app that is available at the time of writing. Step 1: Open the Pokemon Go app. Step 2: Tap the Pokeball icon at the bottom of the screen. Step 3: Touch the Settings button at the top-right of the screen. Step 4: Scroll to the Push Notifications section of the menu, then tap the button to the right of Low Motivation to turn it off. I have this notification turned off in the picture below. Note that this menu has a lot of other settings and options that you might like to customize.
